| Joining Kevin in the show whose theme “By George, It's Washington's Birthday” celebrated the recent federal holiday and Rappahannock County's direct connection with George Washington, were thirty Rappahannock students whose entries were submitted in four categories including: Art, Word, Essay, and Poetry.
Along with place ribbons all students were awarded participation ribbons.
A special ‘Local History' first prize was awarded to fourth grader Josh Jones whose pencil coloring and word description entry highlighted George Washington's surveying of what is now Washington, VA.
